Brazilian natural stone exports closed 2024 with revenues of US$ 1.263 billion, a significant growth of 12.7% compared to 2023, according to data from the Brazilian Natural Stone Association (Centrorochas). December stood out with an expressive performance, recording revenues of US$ 125.3 million, 64.1% more than the same month of the previous year and consolidating the best result in history for this period.
These figures reaffirm Brazil as one of the global leaders in the sector and reinforce the strategic moment for initiatives such as Marmomac Brazil, which will take place from February 18 to 20, at Anhembi, in São Paulo. The event, which has traditionally been held in Italy for 50 years, is having its first edition in Brazil, organized by Milanez & Milaneze, a company of the Veronafiere Group responsible for the Italian edition, and is being pointed out as one of the main drivers of the optimistic outlook for the sector next year, with business projections that could exceed R$ 1 billion. In addition to highlighting the country as a hub of excellence in production, innovation and design, the fair reinforces Brazil's strategic role in the sector.
